Gathering of God’s Generals

God was going to transport my Spiritual Father, Shyju Mathew(the one in the pic) from India to Canada for ministry. Before He left, a meeting was organized-“Generals Meet”. God’s Generals from different parts of my country who were mentored by Shyju Mathew were invited. We went and got transferred to another level in our life and ministry. It’s a joy to share what I learned.

Points worth more than Gold:

Here are a few points from the meeting. Sit back and receive:

• The Mistakes of our Fathers (Spiritual leaders) are for us to learn and not to criticize.
• Greater your revelation of Jesus, greater the impact.
• Before every service, wait till you have an encounter with God. Pray more after the service.
• We can only imitate the style of preachers, we can’t imitate their anointing.
• Don’t desire for respect that God has not allowed.
• If you are exposed before your time, you will be killed.
• Fame kills. Give all the Glory to God.
• Don’t talk anything that doesn’t glorify God. Filter your words.
• It is greater to be a friend of God than to be a man of God.(Most important point)
• A Spiritual leader is incomplete if He is not a Father. (We don’t have many Fathers)
• Don’t walk with corrupted leaders.
• The day you feel you have arrived is the day you will die.
• The Biggest challenge is the spirit of pride not the spirit of lust. When you fall for lust, God will help you. When you fall for pride, God will fight you.
• Don’t go in faith, “Go with God”. If you are not full of God, God won’t manifest.
• Don’t pursue ministry, pursue God.
• Ministry can happen without God. (Death-blow)

God touched me:

God touched me. It was both awesome and terrible. Awesome, because He pulled me closer to Him. Terrible, because I was exposed of my shortcomings. My life is different after my encounter with God in the meeting. It was like God pulling me and saying-“Son, It’s time to walk with me, the “real” way”. The best part is that our time with God as a couple became “heavenly” after the meeting.

I believe it was life-changing for all the men and women of God who attended. I believe that historic meet was organized by God to precede something greater, a historic revival. Wohooooo!! “God is coming to India”. My land is going to see revival!

Running after God:

It is heart-breaking to see believers pursue the things of this world. It is heart-breaking to see men of God pursue ministry. The primary call of every Christian is to run after God’s heart and everything else comes next. We want God and the world but the Bible says we can’t be a friend of God if we are a friend of this world.

You should know that loving the world is the same as hating God. Anyone who wants to be a friend of the world becomes God’s enemy. James 4:4(NCV)

When the Israelites stayed at a distance, Moses walked into the thick darkness where God was. Do we have people like Moses who will run after God till they encounter him? Are we ready to leave everything behind and run after God?

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind. Luke 10:27(NIV)

Prayer:

Daddy, we have fallen short in everything. We are so taken away by our lives. We are coming back to you. We want to live for you 100 per cent. We want to make you happy. We want to be busy with you. Receive us Daddy!

God has a “unique” plan and purpose for your life. Will you run after God?
